life study
Vine and or charcoal pencil on newsprint. Had fun massing in a bunch of these with no contour. I really liked both of these models and that always seems to come out in the drawing in some intangible way. Random times under 5 minutes. I think the face was closer to 10.

great studies. I love seeing the linear construction stuff right next to the tonal stuff (like the third image here). And you nailed the planes of that head at the bottom. I always have trouble with that angle.

Amazing set of studies once again. Capturing the shadows across the face at that angle is particularly impressive.
Beautiful pieces. It makes me sad that you did them on newsprint though. I love them all.
