light

Trying to get a handle on different lighting situations. I rely too much on a couple simple situations that I pull out of my pocket to describe form. Quickie from last night trying to ambiently (globally) light this guy. Decided at the very end to add shafts of light cause it was looking really dull. Didn't pay enough attention to them, tho. Still, learned some things for next time.

This really is great! according to my paintings, the sun and all lightbulbs sit right above all characters shoulders and shine down on their faces :) -way to push yourself, I love it.

At first i thought, wow, a killer 3d rendered character. And then I looked closer, and then I thought, what an even cooler painting. Beauty.

Hey Mark,

Just found out about your 2d side recently and it is just as good as your 3d animation man.

Wicked wicked stuff.
