I know, the "landscape" is awful. I have to scribble in a new one later.

Man, where have I been. These are some great recent pieces. That light one is awesome! It's like I am looking at some freakish zoo creature.

1) This is great. The strong sense of reflected light makes it feel like a stop motion shot...but painterly.

2) I visited a friend of mine who is doing AM. He was showing me around the site. Of course, I had to watch one of your critiques. Man, you look nothing like your characters ;)
You instructors are doing great stuff over there. Passing on knowledge is priceless.

Quite the contrary - I think it sells the scale of the beast . Really like the way lighting is coming into play for strong shadows etc in these last paintings .

Happy christmas and best of wishes for the new year.

Cheers .
