As a vampire, Franklin wasn't the best flyer, but he loved a good exsanguination.

late night again

It's late and I'm working on a light monitor. I can't wait to see what this looks like at work w calibration. And some sleep.

More Brush Play

This time w/a "Round Camclhair" Oil brush. Ended up looking a lot like (at least at 100%) the smeary round brush of the last post, but felt different. Less pressure required to put down color at the same opacity and resaturation levels. I kinda like it. A little soft for me now but I could get used to it - at least for higher rez, larger work.

Playing with brushes

I've noticed the brushes I'm using aren't that fun for higher res stuff-they're a little sterile. So I was playing with others tonight. These seem to ailias down nicely but hold up at detail. A little slower than I'm used to, but not obnoxious.

shiny

Not at all happy with this one. Seemed none of my brushes were happy with me. Always happens when I get too careful. Gotta loosen up.

Copper Antigrav Man

Color

I seemed to have much better luck in PS using a brush w color mode right on the B&W than a color , colorize, mutliply, gel or overlay layer in PS or Painter. Odd. It felt very different to me. Could be my imagination, but I didn't mind it at all. And boy did this look different on my tabletPC screen than it does on my normal monitor.

Meeting Sketch

Quicky tabletpc sketch during a super exciting meeting.

quicky

Lunchtime sketch.
I just couldn't color this one. I wanted to. I tried to. I may try again. It just fell flat. Blah. It's so much easier to work out forms in B&W but when I try to color it, I loose so much of that work and I end up feeling wishy washy about it.
